Whats the advantage or dis-advantages using blended aromatherapy oils?

Aromatherapy uses essential oils extracted from nature鈥檚 herbs and flowers. The aroma is inhaled, or applied to the skin, and each of the oils (or combination thereof) addresses a specific disorder. It appears that the body is able to utilize the healing properties of the oils through the olfactory system of the body, and so initiate the healing process. Aromatherapy practitioners would also have an understanding of the psychological and emotional factors of illness.

This website has some great information and articles about Aromatherapy.

Whats the advantage or dis-advantages using blended aromatherapy oils?
The major disadvantage is that you are not going to have control of the ingredients. On the other hand, the advantage, it might work better than any other oil would have worked. Personally, I've used blended before, and I would use it again. Worked good for, hopefully will work for you too!Whats the advantage or dis-advantages using blended aromatherapy oils?
The major problem of blend aromatherapy oils is that you can not control which ingredients are mixed in the oils. However, the good thing is that you may not know the good effect of mixing different ingredients together.
Disadvantage:

you don't have control of the ingredients.

yeah, you won't know which one really was helpful for your ailment.

Advantage:

you won't have to buy an oil you may never use again.

the blend may be just what the 'doctor' ordered.

If you are experimenting, an experiment using 2 or more oils will not reveal which oil is the effective oil.

If you know ahead of time which oils are effective, then it doesn't matter that much.
